We are currently seeking a PCB Assembly Operator with 10+ years experience operating a PCB pick and place machine, reflow oven, and X-ray inspection for setting up a PCB assembly prototype line for rigid PCB. This role reports to the VP of Operations and Supply Chain

Role:

Drive and root cause board failures into actionable steps to improve overall PCBA quality
Use data from Quality and Manufacturing Engineers to improve manufacturing processes and tools
Standardize and document manufacturing processes to create a baseline for improvement, inventory needed, and sequence of work
Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters
Create an ROI analysis to justify, purchase, and implement capital equipment for the SMT Line
Create a machine upgrade and maintenance roadmap/schedule
Build a culture of stopping to fix problems, creating a continuous flow, and building in quality to our process
Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required
Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
Meet internal customer board demand with exceptional timing and quality
Coordinate a smooth release of new boards with Development and Manufacturing to meet product launch dates
Drive reductions in setup times, cycle times, and process improvement

Required Experience:

Leadership, improvement focused, self-starter and finisher, team builder
Process and systems mindset
Knowledge of PCB assembly
SMT equipment experience
Moderate to Advanced Excel Skills

Education:
B. S. in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
B. A. in Operations Management
